DURAL PIR
Our DURALEN PIR shrink film is made from high-quality, purchased PIR (POST INDUSTRIAL RECYCLED) material and retains the quality of DURALEN LDPE shrink film that has been tried and tested for over 50 years. DURALEN PIR is an environmentally friendly choice as it is made from recycled industrial plastic. Neither harmful vapors nor waste water are produced during production. DURALEN PIR films are physiologically flawless, free from plasticizers, heavy metals and other harmful additives, but are not food-safe.
Our DURALEN PIR films are available in different PIR percentages, starting at 30% and going up to 100%. They are characterized by a slight cloudiness, which emphasizes their sustainability and high PIR content.
After use, DURALEN PIR films can be recycled by type, as they are made exclusively from LDPE. This enables high-quality material recycling in contrast to composite films made from different types of plastic. As a provider of film packaging solutions, we have a responsibility for sustainability.
